Sohar is a half way between Muscat and Dubai. . Company: Oman Polypropylene LLC (OPP) to produce Polypropylene: ·         Short Term – Homo-polymer. ·         Long Term – Homo-polymer, Impact & Random Copolymer.

. Capacity: 340,000 MT /Year with Technology: Novolen.      . Oman Polypropylene was registered as a company in July 2002.      . The shareholders are:             Ministry of Finance          40%          Oman Oil   Company       40%            LGi Corporation             20%              . Started EPC in June 2004 and commissioning in August 2006      . First propylene feed in 24th September 2006     .
